What is the number one alkaline water to drink?
There is no universally agreed-upon “number one” alkaline water brand to drink, as the choice of alkaline water can be highly subjective and dependent on individual preferences.
Some people prefer natural alkaline water from mineral springs, while others may opt for processed alkaline water from various brands. When choosing an alkaline water brand, consider factors such as taste, mineral content, pH level, and your personal health goals.
Here are a few popular brands of alkaline water as of my last knowledge update in September 2021. Please note that the availability of brands may vary by location, and new brands may have emerged since then:
- Essentia: Essentia is a well-known brand of alkaline water with a claimed pH level of 9.5. It is often available in stores and online.
- SmartWater Alkaline: SmartWater offers an alkaline version of its bottled water with added electrolytes.
- Fiji Water: Fiji Water is known for its natural alkalinity due to its source in the Yaqara Valley of Viti Levu, Fiji. It typically has a pH level of around 7.7.
- Evamor Natural Alkaline Artesian Water: Evamor is sourced from a natural artesian spring in Louisiana and has a pH level of around 8.8.
- AQUAhydrate: AQUAhydrate is marketed as a high-alkaline water with a pH level of around 9+.
It’s essential to do your research, read product labels, and consider any specific dietary or health needs you may have when choosing an alkaline water brand. Additionally, consulting with a healthcare professional for personalized advice is always a good practice, especially if you have specific health concerns or conditions that changes in your water consumption may impact.
